This research is being conducted by Joseph Ritkes, a doctoral student of Psychology Public Policy and Law, and is being supervised by Dr. Marion Chiurazzi, Psy.D., in the California School of Forensic Studies at Alliant International University. This study is designed to explore the differences between medical providers' and correctional professionals' knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and experience with job training as it relates to the LGBTQ+ community. The data are collected using an anonymous online survey. You will not be asked to provide any identifiable information and your answers cannot be traced back to you. The data and results will be kept completely confidential and only used for the purpose of this study. Participation in this study is completely voluntary and you may choose not to participate or withdraw from the study at any time without penalty. The 99-item survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete and consists of demographic questions followed by several other brief questionnaires used to measure key elements of focus in this study. There are no right or wrong answers to any of the questions.
To be part of this study, you must be 18-years of age or older, currently working or retired (full-time, part-time, or retired) in a California medical setting, jail or prison. You must be able to read and understand English at the eighth-grade level. If you do not meet these criteria, your responses cannot be used for this research.

All the anonymous responses to the questionnaires will remain on a password-protected computer and will be deleted 5 years after completion of the research. No compensation will be provided by the primary researcher, Joseph Ritkes, for participating in this study.
